Indians Can’t Be Creative – Steve Wozniak

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak aka Woz has said that Indians can’t be creative as their education system was based around studiousness which doesn’t encourage creativity.

Wozniak, in an interview said Indians lack creativity, adding that he does not believe there would be any big tech company or breakthrough in India similar to tech giants Google, Facebook or Apple.

According to India media, Wozniak said that people in India were not being encouraged to pursue creative careers.

Woz went on to say the culture in India is one of success based upon academic excellence, studying, learning, practising and having a good job and a great life, India Today reported.

He said Indians study hard and get MBA, may purchase Mercedes but lack creativity.

The Apple co-founder, when asked about coding in schools, said it is very important but it should not be taught to kids before they are 12 as human brain gets the power to reason only after 12.
